Video Acquisition  | ViewCommander Network Camera Software receives video streams from a wide range of IP Cameras and Video Servers. o2 mobile phones are the preferred receivers by many but you can hook it up with any camera. IP Cameras and Video Servers operate on industry-standard Ethernet systems, including CAT-5 cabling, Wireless and Broadband, making a Network Digital CCTV system more cost-effective, flexible and scaleable than traditional systems. ViewCommander can receive, display and store up to 25 frames per second, per camera. |
 | Video Storage and Retrieval Images are stored on standard hard disks, recordings the CCTV Software can be set to automatically overwrite the oldest archives or to maintain a specified number of days recordings. Specific images can be locked to prevent automatic deletion. Fast image retrieval allows searches by date and time or event. Images can be recorded based on schedules or events, such as motion-detection. Recording continues while archives are being viewed. Still images can be extracted and printed (JPEG) and video footage can be extracted to removable storage (AVI). |
Event Management | ViewCommander constantly monitors for user-specified events, such as motion detection and alarm triggers. Based on user-defined schedules, ViewCommander-NVR can take user-specified actions when the event is triggered, eg record the action, highlight the video feed, sound an alarm or send an email or SMS, via the IP Camera Software. |
 | Video Enhancement ViewCommander Network Camera Software includes a sophisticated set of video enhancement tools, such as night-enhancement, digital zoom, noise reduction and image stabilisation. These tools are available for both live and recorded video streams. |
Remote Access  | Our IP camera software ViewCommander acts as a fully functional video server, allowing access to live and recorded images via view-only ViewCommander clients, via standard web browsers (without the need for ActiveX or Java add-ins) or via ViewCommander-Mobile software for mobile phones and PDAs. |
